I downloaded this book today around 2.30pm.With forty one chapters I started this book thinking I would read a few chapters a day, and write it up over the weekend.. How wrong could I be. 3 hours later.. .I'm here writing the review! I could not put it down.

 Straight away you are taken into the world of Wolfcreek, and the first of the many werewolf attacks to come. Taken into a world of gore, gripping suspense and intrigue the author Mercedes Ludill has a wonderful talent that enables you to live within the world of the characters - which ever you get attached with the most! You find yourself there with Lanny and his new pup Clancy, Randy with his "new in town" girlfriend, and feel for Ted and his Twin sister.

Each character is defined with their own storyline, whilst seamlessly linking into each other’s lives in a way that makes you feel part of their clan. The story flows easily and fluidly throughout each and every chapter allowing you to put it down if you need to.. or want to.. or are able to as I was not! The plot is fast and has many twists and turns so that even I, a problem and who dun-nit addict could not figure out who the big bad wolf was!

Full of detailed gore attacks this book will attract all horror fans, add in a touch of lust, men in uniform, a few very fit women, oh and then there are the werewolves and you have an action packed thriller of a read that should appeal to nearly everyone!

Follow the story line of our brave and protective law men as they try to unravel the gruesome murders that have come to their quiet little town of Wolfcreek. Feel fear and adrenalin rushes as you read the details of each attack, each tear, and each death. Feel your heartbeat increase as the characters get up close and personal, and feel your heart break as the attacks increase with worrying after effects.

If you are into horror, into werewolves, fantasy and passion this book is a must read. I loved this book, from the gripping first page until the last unpredictable paragraph. I score Vengeance of the Werewolf all  5 stars and this book has earned every last one.
